Terms of sale
1. Scope
These general terms and conditions of sale (T&Cs) govern the contractual relations between RISPAL and any person making a purchase on the rispal.shop website. Any order placed on the site implies unreserved acceptance of these T&Cs.
2. Products and orders
RISPAL endeavours to provide accurate information about its products, including their description, features and availability. Orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. As each luminaire is handmade, slight variations may exist compared with the images shown.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros and include applicable taxes. Payment is made by bank card or any other method offered at checkout, via Shopify Payments (secure 3D Secure payment, PCI DSS compliant).
4. Delivery
Orders are shipped from Brive-la-Gaillarde (France) by express carrier. The stated delivery time is approximately 3 weeks and may vary depending on the destination and logistical constraints. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before payment is confirmed.
5. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with European regulations (Directive 2011/83/EU as amended by Directive (EU) 2023/2673), you have 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason.
For orders not yet prepared, you can request cancellation directly from your customer account or via the order tracking link, until the item has been prepared for shipping.
For orders already prepared or shipped, you can exercise your right of withdrawal via our online return form, accessible from your account or the order tracking page. The procedure takes place in two steps: (1) entering your name and order reference, (2) confirming the request. An automatic confirmation email will be sent to you as soon as your request is received.
Products must be returned in their original condition to the following address: RISPAL 11 avenue Firmin Marbeau 19100 Brive-la-Gaillarde, France.
The refund is made within 14 days of receipt of the returned product, or of proof that it has been sent, whichever comes first. Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise indicated.
Certain products made to order or to the customer’s personalised specifications may be excluded from the right of withdrawal, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code. Where applicable, this exclusion is clearly indicated on the product page before purchase.
6. Warranty and liability
RISPAL guarantees that its products comply with the quality standards in force. In the event of a defective product, RISPAL will replace or refund it, in accordance with the applicable legal provisions (legal guarantee of conformity and guarantee against hidden defects).
7. Personal data
The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the site (texts, images, logos, trademarks) is the exclusive property of RISPAL or its partners. Any unauthorised reproduction is strictly prohibited.
9. Disputes and governing law
In the event of a dispute, we invite you to contact us first in order to find an amicable solution, via our contact page. These T&Cs are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, the competent French courts will have jurisdiction. In accordance with Article L616-1 of the French Consumer Code, you may also use a consumer mediator free of charge.
10. Changes to the T&Cs
RISPAL reserves the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. The new terms apply to orders placed after their publication on the site.
